Now waterproof! This allergen-blocking organic pillow cover (encasement) is made with organic cotton fabric woven to a pore size of 4.5 microns. The special weave blocks entry of dust mites, pet dander, or bed bugs into your pillow. Mattress allergy encasements are also available for mattresses, foundations and box springs.

The quality of the material is excellent. It is a much heavier material than a comparable organic pillow cover I have from a similar company. There is no crinkly sound from the “waterproof” liner. In fact there isn’t much of a lining at all. This does make me question the waterproofness of the case. The one drawback I see is the zipper doesn’t extend all the way to the corners. This makes putting in/taking out the pillow difficult. It also means there is excess material and the case doesn’t fit tight. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.
