The perfect balance of customization and affordability.

The SerenitySpring mattress includes 8″ of individually-wrapped coils made from recycled steel and one 3″ layer of natural latex. It’s designed to be both comfortable and durable. We wanted to create an organic mattress option that was more affordable without sacrificing the benefits of customization. Like our Serenity and Tranquility mattresses, the SerenitySpring allows you to choose between Soft, Medium, and Firm layers of Dunlop or Talalay latex.

What sets this mattress apart though is the choice between Medium and Firm individually-wrapped coil units. Split individually-wrapped coils in Queen, King and CA King allow you and your partner to have individual configurations, catering to your specific needs. The SerenitySpring is covered in our certified organic mattress casing, with organic cotton and organic wool batting, a natural flame barrier that promotes a cool sleep.

Responsive Softness

Talalay is known for its responsiveness, as well as its luxurious cradling feel. If you’re on the petite side, this pairing of Soft Talalay and Medium springs may be the perfect configuration for you.

Gentle Support

Here, the slightly denser Soft Dunlop and Medium springs creates a slightly firmer feel than the Soft Talalay over Medium springs. This may be ideal for adults seeking a soft mattress that “gives.”

Pleasant Firmness

If you’re a stomach sleeper or a back sleeper who enjoys a firm mattress, consider combining either a Medium or Firm layer of latex with Firm individually-wrapped coils.

What’s inside a SerenitySpring mattress?

Savvy Rest offers natural mattresses that are safe for your home and our planet. Here’s a closer look at the materials inside our SerenitySpring mattress.

Natural latex

True natural latex, without synthetic latex or fillers blended in, is simply natural foam rubber. We offer two different types of natural latex: Dunlop and Talalay. Dunlop is denser and more supportive. Talalay offers softness and gentle pressure-relief. (Learn more about Dunlop and Talalay here.)

Our natural Dunlop latex is certified organic in two ways. The rubber tree plantations are certified organic according to USDA standards, and its processing is certified organic to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).

Our natural Talalay latex has been certified as Cradle to Cradle GOLD, a measure of its health impact, level of material re-use, water stewardship, and social fairness. The latex is sourced from rubber tree plantations that adhere to sustainable forestry practices.

We now give our customers the option to have their latex layers individually wrapped in organic cotton. Some may prefer the more sleek and easier-to-handle benefits of covered latex. Wrapped in certified organic jersey knit cotton, covered latex layers make assembly a bit easier and offer extra protection. Select “Wrapped Latex Layers.”

Certified organic wool

You’ll never find chemical flame retardants in our organic mattresses. Instead, we use GOTS-certified organic wool batting as a natural flame barrier. Wool also regulates temperature by promoting airflow, so it will not cause you to feel overheated at night.

Certified organic cotton

We stay away from cotton treated with pesticides since this is harmful to our bodies and the planet. Our mattress casings are made of unbleached, GOTS-certified organic cotton. When you see that GOTS logo, it means that material or overall product has met the most rigorous organic standard worldwide.

Individually-wrapped springs

The coils in our SerenitySpring mattress contour to your body’s curves and offer responsive support with a touch of gentle bounce. These cushioning springs are excellent at pressure point relief and are also incredibly breathable, giving you cool comfort you’ll love.
