Savvy Rest offers a limited warranty that covers the original purchaser only. If your furniture is still under warranty, Savvy Rest will repair or replace any piece of furniture that is defective in materials or workmanship. The decision to repair a piece or replace it will be made at the discretion of Savvy Rest. To exercise your rights under the limited warranty, the original purchaser must submit the original sales receipt.
You will not be charged for any repair services, replacement furniture or delivery costs related to warranty issues arising during the first year of ownership. After the first year and before the fifth year of ownership, you will be responsible for the delivery cost to the factory and Savvy Rest will be responsible for the return delivery cost.
If you notice a manufacturing defect, it is important for you to notify Savvy Rest within 15 days of original delivery or notice of the defect. These are your exclusive remedies under Savvy Rest’s warranty.
Photographs are required for submitting warranty claims.
Frames: Frames, when subjected to normal use under normal conditions, are warranted for a period of FIVE (5) years as long as the upholstered product remains in its original covering.
NOTE: Wood is a natural material, and as such it responds to changes in humidity and temperature. Additionally, wood will vary in shade, texture and markings; these variations are a normal feature of an organic product.
Fabric: Manufacturers of upholstery fabrics do not warrant their products for durability or colorfastness. While Savvy Rest makes every effort to select fabrics that are durable and colorfast, we acknowledge that colorfastness can only be achieved using synthetic materials or potentially harmful chemicals. We regret that we will be unable to honor adjustments, claims, or credits based on durability or colorfastness. Fabric coverings, other than Customer’s Own Material (COM), are warranted for ONE (1) year from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects, seam slippage, pilling (unless pilling is a natural characteristic), shrinkage, and nap loss.
Limitations and Exclusions
While Savvy Rest believes its warranty terms are consistent with the superior quality of its products, there are some limitations. The following will limit or exclude coverage under this warranty.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
Savvy Rest makes no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. These and all other implied warranties are specifically disclaimed. By “implied warranties,” Savvy Rest means warranties that the law sometimes implies to have been given by the seller even though they are not set out in writing.
Place of Purchase
This warranty protects the original consumer only if the Savvy Rest furniture is purchased from a Savvy Rest Authorized Retailer.
This warranty applies only when the Savvy Rest furniture is purchased for normal indoor residential use and not for resale or commercial use.
Improper Care and Use
Savvy Rest furniture requires routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your Savvy Rest furniture like the fine product it is. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. Savvy Rest will not repair or replace your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This warranty is void if your Savvy Rest product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
Accidents, Abuse and Normal Wear and Tear
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, sunlight, or accidents, including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.
Any product modification made by retailer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Savvy Rest will void this warranty.
Floor Samples or Products purchased “AS IS”
This warranty does not cover floor samples or products designated “AS IS” at the time of purchase.
Differences From Floor Samples or Literature
Because of craftsmanship or use of natural materials in Savvy Rest furniture, minor variations can occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this warranty does not cover such minor variations or differences between floor samples or printed illustrations and your furniture.
Consequential or Incidental Damages
Savvy Rest will not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. By this Savvy Rest means any loss, expense, or damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.)
Your Warranty Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Except for such other rights, the remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of Savvy Rest responsibilities.
